Terms of service

These Terms of service govern your use of the football data API provided by CDE Sports Data ("we", "us", or "CDE"). By accessing or using the API you agree to these terms.

1. API use

CDE Sports Data provides a REST API that delivers football fixtures, results, scores, Portuguese names, and badges. You may use the API to power your own apps, websites, and systems subject to these Terms.

1a. Subscription, renewal, and delivery

The monthly subscription is billed on a recurring basis and renews automatically every month at the same price until cancelled. The one-time 30-day payment does not auto-renew. After payment confirmation, your API key is sent by email by our team within 24 hours. Key delivery is handled manually after you send your order number to vendas@cdesporte.com.

2. Acceptable use

The API is intended exclusively for football data products. You agree that you will not:

• Use the data for regulated activities requiring a government license or specific authorization, including financial, risk-based, or result-prediction products.
• Use the data to create, calculate, or publish probability lines, score predictions, or any derivative products for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the raw API data to third parties.
• Attempt to defeat authentication, disrupt service availability, or attack the API infrastructure.

3. Data accuracy

API data is sourced from external providers. CDE Sports Data does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the supplied data and is not responsible for provider errors, omissions, or interruptions. The API is provided "as is", without warranties.

4. Limitation of liability

The total liability of CDE Sports Data to you for any claim related to the API will be limited to the amount you paid to CDE in the month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event will we be liable for lost profits, indirect, or consequential damages.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the payment provider portal. Cancellation stops future renewals, and API access continues until the end of the already-paid period. For refunds, see our Refund policy. After access ends, your API key is deactivated and account-related usage data (request logs) is deleted within 90 days.

6. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your API key secure and confidential. Do not share your key with third parties. You are liable for all activity performed using your key. If it is compromised, notify vendas@cdesporte.com immediately.

7. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify material changes at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use of the API after the new terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Brazil.
